C·Budget option

This property is suitable for budget-conscious travellers seeking a central location for very short stays, provided they are prepared for basic facilities and potential cleanliness issues.

7 Wonders Boutique Capsule offers a budget-friendly stay in Singapore, featuring open bunk-style pods with privacy curtains. While the location is highly regarded for its proximity to MRT lines, shopping, and dining, guests frequently report significant issues with cleanliness, particularly in the shared bathrooms. The pods themselves offer comfortable beds, though some are noted for noisy mattresses and inadequate air conditioning when curtains are closed. Luggage storage is available, but space within the dorms is limited. The property operates mixed-gender dorms, which has been a source of discomfort for some female travellers.

Reviews explicitly mention mixed-gender rooms, causing discomfort for some female guests.

Noise & sleep

Snoring, doors, how much you actually hear
3.0weak

Noise is a significant issue, with complaints about noisy mattresses, general room noise, and disturbances from people coming and going, especially for pods located near the door.

Our bed was right by the door so we could hear a lot of noise and people coming and going throughout the night

The pods offer privacy through curtains, which are generally effective, though one review noted a curtain hanging by a single hook.

There was no hot water in the shower - which is okay for Singapore but not super relaxing

Luggage storage

Lockers and suitcase space
5.0mixed

Luggage storage is available, with small lockers under beds suitable for backpacks and a free luggage room downstairs. However, the small dorm rooms make it difficult to access lockers or open larger bags.

Lockers under the beds are really small, but we just fit our backpacks. Can also leave a bag in the luggage room downstairs free of charge. It’s Singapore so very safe

complaintNZMay 2026

Dorm was very small with a lot of beds, you can’t take you bag out your locker very easy to pack anything as there’s no room

complaintUKMar 2026

The room is very very small. There is no place to open your luggage. There is a small space under the bunk beds for storage.

The female staff that talks like blaming ppl over their mistake,eg: forgot put blanket, next morning go ask for it and she says didnt tell her last night straight away without knowing i just check in at late night no staff anymore text watsapp also no ppl reply. The way she talks like wanna throw the blame first to someone else first is really pissed me off.

Atmosphere

Social or silent — the vibe of the place
4.0weak

The atmosphere is negatively impacted by mixed-gender dorms, which made some female guests feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The circulation space in the dorms is also described as very narrow.

I was shocked because men and women were mixed in one room. I thought they would be separated, but they were not. Because of this, I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t sleep well as I was scared.

complaintMYMar 2026

The hostel circulation space in the BED is too narrow. can only pass one body at one time . small bed area and very hard to move around. ( like a coffin )

complaintMYJan 2026

I’d say it’s good enough place when you’re on a budget, it would be better if they separated rooms for men and women
