Noise isolation is typical for a capsule hotel; some guests found it surprisingly quiet, while others experienced issues with snoring neighbours due to standard soundproofing. Earplugs are recommended.
“For a capsule hotel, it was surprisingly quiet!”
“Everything was clean n quiet .”
“It’s a capsule hotel which means that your experience is always gonna come down to luck on who you’re bunking with. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is pretty standard and if someone nearby is snoring, you’re gonna hear it. My lovely neighbor snored like a lawnmower and I’m a sensitive sleeper.”
Guests generally found the pods spacious and comfortable for a capsule hotel, with amenities like a TV, lights, outlet, and fan. Some noted the bed was more comfortable than expected, though thicker duvets might be preferred.
“Bed was more comfortable than expected, and the lockers inside our pods as well as the luggage locks provided by front desk were very much appreciated.”
“Our pods were clean and decently cozy, though if you're used to thicker duvets you may want a blanket.”
“The capsules themselves are pretty spacious in terms of capsules. I’m a bit over 6ft (186cm) and I fit fine. There’s also a tv, working lights and outlet, and a little fan in there as well as a little cubby to stick your shoes.”
The property offers good privacy with large lockboxes inside the cabins and luggage locks provided by the front desk, contributing to a sense of safety and personal space.

“It was filled up by the time I got there so I decided to just keep my bag in my pod with me.”
“There was a very large lockbox in the cabin that I could fit my bag in. I felt safe and things were reasonably private.”
Cleanliness is consistently praised across the board, from pods to common areas and shared bathrooms, with many guests describing the property as spotless and modern.

The shared bathrooms, including an onsen bath and private showers, are highly rated for cleanliness and quality. Amenities are well-stocked, though one guest noted a temporary issue with hot water in a shower.

“Other than that I found the storage place for luggage to be quite small. It was filled up by the time I got there so I decided to just keep my bag in my pod with me.”

“Staff also is very respectfull and polite.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff that can speak English and Japanese well (I think they were speaking Hindi with another guest when I got there as well). They explain everything very well and it’s a very straight forward and secure system for getting into the rooms.”
“A front staff did not explain facilities well when I checked in. In particular, he did not know about a public bath even”
The location is a major highlight, situated right by Ichigaya Station with easy access to JR and subway lines, making it convenient for travel to major Tokyo hubs like Shinjuku and Shibuya. It's also close to diverse restaurants and convenience stores.
“Located near the JR Subway, making it convenient to travel to various places. It's also a community area with many diverse restaurants.”
“I think the best part though is the location. The hotel is right by Ichigaya station which is one of the nicest I’ve seen in Tokyo. While there’s not a ton of shops nearby, there was a nice cafe as well as a street not too far down the road with a bunch of nice restaurants and bars. But if thats not enough, you can easily get to any of Tokyo’s more popular hubs directly from Ichigaya station. So you can stay in a more quiet laidback location and within 10 minutes be in downtown Shinjuku or Shibuya. I even was able to take a 30 minute train all the way out to Disney.”
“The hotel is conveniently located across the road from Ichigaya Station, which itself is a few stops away from Shinjuku. The Kanda River flows alongside with many pretty cherry blossoms right outside each time you come out.”
The hotel offers a modern and clean atmosphere with a large common area and a lounging area featuring a manga collection, suggesting a comfortable but not overly social environment. It maintains a quiet ambiance typical of capsule hotels.
